To protect the Speed River Valley Lands as a cultural heritage landscape and associated greenspace for ours and for future generations.
- To raise public awareness of, and support for, the conservation, protection and enhancement of the special character of the Speed River Valley Lands.
- To recognize the heritage significance of the single lane Niska Road Bailey Bridge and its abutments as a highlight of the valley lands.
- To work proactively and in collaboration with the public, the City of Guelph, the Kortright Hills neighbourhood and the Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) to develop a management plan for the Speed River Valley Lands.
